Anyone have any info on a rumor that an Officer's spouse shot and wounded a burglar in their house tonight? And that an exempt member attempted to have her arrested on UUW charges, and when the Detectives refused, he sought a Log Number (the old CR) on the Officer for "failure to secure" a firearm?
Because if this is true, we are sure everyone would be interested.
UPDATE: Can't seem to nail down an event or RD# yet.
UPDATE: According to a couple of people, 006 District. And it's in the 24 hour report?
UPDATE: Apparently, it's the duty status of the Officer involved that is leading to the rumor mill and reality combining into this steaming heap.
