Headcase and Criminal Win

From Minnesota.  Without running a campaign.  Without even doing his job for the past how many months?  And wins with a total greater than his two opponents combined:
  • Jesse Jackson Jr. won re-election to Illinois' 2nd Congressional district by a landslide Tuesday night, beating his two opponents, Marcus Lewis and Brian Woodwoorth.

As of 2 a.m. Wednesday, and with 99 percent of precincts reporting, Jackson had captured 63 percent of the vote.
  • Despite the fact he was indicted on bribery charges and expelled from the Illinois House, State Representative Derrick Smith was re-elected in the 10th District.

Smith easily defeated Unity candidate Lance Tyson and write-in Democrat Eddie Winters.
Illinois is beyond repair.
