The man got out of the car and tried to attack the driver of the other car. A private security officer stopped to check on the car accident, [...], and the man stabbed her. She was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
The sergeant who responded to the scene told the man to drop the knife and he didn't, [...]. He was taken to an area hospital but his condition wasn't available.
