The fight for the homicide crown has tightened up lately, with half a dozen districts within a single or a double killing from the lead. 010 dropped out of the lead for a bit while 007 caught and passed them. 011 is tied in second place during the month, trailing only by one. The race is a crowded as a Kentucky Derby homestretch.
