A 17-year-old boy who was shot as he fled Friday after robbing a barbershop has died, authorities said.
Marcus Nunn, of the 5400 block of South Paulina Street, suffered multiple gunshot wounds on Friday, including at least once to the head, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner's office. He was pronounced dead Sunday afternoon at Advocate Christ Medical Center.
Police said he was shot three times as he and his accomplice ran east on 63rd Street after running out the front door of the Forever Young barbershop at 3106 W. 63rd.
After the wounded Nunn fell to the ground, one of the victims from inside the barbershop went through the boy's pockets and got his possessions back, police said. Police said it's not clear who shot Nunn.
