At least six people were shot on the South, West and Northwest sides Saturday night and Sunday morning, according to police.
One man died, shot apparently because he bumped into someone at a party, police said.
He was killed on the 1900 block of South Lawndale Avenue the Little Village neighborhood on the West Side.

He was sitting in a vehicle when another one rolled by and someone inside opened fire, police said.

Saturday night about 9:15 p.m., a 36-year-old man was shot two blocks from the scene of a homicide Saturday morning.
The man was walking east on 25th Street west of Sacramento Avenue when a vehicle emerged from the alley and someone stepped out, opening fire with a small-caliber pistol, police said.
