- A 35-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy were charged today with the Friday afternoon shooting of a Chicago police officer on the Far South Side.
Andre Miles, 35, of the 10500 block of South Maryland Avenue was charged with attempted murder and aggravated battery, police said. He’s expected in court Sunday.
The 16-year-old boy was charged with aggravated battery as a juvenile but police didn’t release additional information about him.
Good job all around making sure these assholes ended up in custody.
