Chicago has to be averaging almost five shot a night lately, right? Double that last night:
- Ten people were shot across Chicago Friday evening and into Saturday morning, according to police.
These crime strategies are working amazingly badly. Sure, the shootings "in the box" might be down, but everywhere else, they're out of hand and there just aren't enough cops to put in any more boxes. We're stretched to thin and summer is likely to break it.
