Two people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision that followed a three-mile police chase this afternoon, authorities said.
Both injured people were taken in serious-to-critical condition from the crash that occurred on 95th Street just west of Halsted Street to Advocate Christ Medical Center at about 1 p.m., said Chicago Fire Department spokesman Chief Joe Roccasalva.
The pursuit began near the 7900 Block of South Hermitage Avenue a few minutes before 1 p.m. and ended just minutes later, said Chicago Police News Affairs...
79th Street would be a perfect place for speed cameras, red light cameras, speed humps, Jersey barriers, curb bump-outs, traffic circles, twelve inch curbs, built in spike strips, tiger pits, random land mines, axle-buster potholes and near constant construction barricades.
For starters.
