A knife-wielding man walked into a Gage Park neighborhood Walgreens this morning and stabbed three people before he was arrested by police, authorities said.
The man, in his 20s, entered the store in the 5500 block of South Kedzie Avenue at about 1 a.m., police said. He stabbed two women and a man, according to Officer Amina Greer, a police spokeswoman.
"He walked in, he looked normal," said a store worker, Manuel Rodriguez. "But he had a butcher knife."
Yeah, because normal people walk around with butcher knives in case they run into a side of beef somewhere.
We'll bet each of those people stabbed is wishing there was a "trigger happy copper" around somewhere, on or off duty.
