Supt. Teresa Colvin (Jennifer Beals) told her driver PO Bidwell to take in the "robbery in progress" in a store only 2 blocks away because "we're still the police."
They were first on the scene as the robber led the hostage out of the store at gunpoint. Supt. Colvin and driver disarmed him. One in custody for armed robbery; no one hurt.
A case of art NOT imitating the life of the disgraced COWARD J-Fled who ran the other way from my still unsolved murder in Englewood.
