Add another 16 shot to the butcher's bill:

• Two men are dead and at least 14 people were wounded in separate shootings around the city late Saturday and early this morning.

South Austin, West Garfield Park, Logan Square, South Chicago, Stony Island Park, Washington Park, Englewood, then South Austin and Englewood a second time with West Garfield three more times. Toss in an outlier on Margate Park just to confuse people.

But hey, 30 and 40 people shot on a weekend is now the new normal. Move along. Nothing to see here.
