- The Rev. Michael Pfleger, the activist pastor of St. Sabina Church on the South Side, says he believes someone was "trying to send a message" by tying a shirt to the door of a parish building and setting it on fire overnight.
Pfleger, known for his campaign against gangs and drugs, said it's the third time something has been nailed to the door of a parish building recently. In one previous incident, it was a bag of excrement.
Really? A bag of shit? Apropos one might say.
Anyone else see this as a cry for attention? Because we're pretty sure Sabina's is covered in video cameras. At least it was last time we were.....ah, never mind. Go forth and seek the evildoers!
