Every so often, the miracle workers at our local trauma centers lose a battle, and McJersey must be pissed as hell because his newest strategy can't really prevent these, but they still show up as a death during the week:
- A man has died after he suffered a gunshot wound while riding in a car with several other people in the Back of the Yards neighborhood in late April, authorities said.
Armando Garza, 27, of the 5300 block of South Kilpatrick Avenue, was declared dead at 10:02 a.m. Sunday at Mount Sinai Hospital, after suffering a gunshot wound to the spine, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
The victim was shot late in the neck on April 30 in the 4500 block of South Throop Street, said Chicago Police News Affairs...
