- Chicago police today announced a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the conviction of whoever shot an off-duty officer last week on the South Side.
The 38-year-old officer was shot in the legs about 1:27 a.m. June 15 as he sat on a back porch with other officers in the Longwood Manor neighborhood.
The shots apparently came from Metra train tracks near the home in the 9700 block of South Genoa Avenue, police said.
Spread the word. Someone might flip for ten grand.
