- Police today offered a $3,000 reward for information leading to conviction of the person responsible for vandalizing the Chicago Police Memorial in the city’s South Loop neighborhood.
Graffiti was discovered about 6 p.m. Thursday on the memorial located near the intersection of 18th Street and McFetridge Drive, police said.
The memorial honors officers who have given their lives in the line of duty.
Someone somewhere saw something, and $3,000 might open a few mouths. Didn't they have cameras there at one point?
