If A = B and B = C, then A = ?

Did anyone else notice (like many of our readers did) that the July homicide rate dropped following the deployment of 200 extra officers working their days off?

That might make someone intelligent draw a correlation between the number of police and the reduction in murders.

Unfortunately, no one intelligent is in a position to do anything about it.
